All About Me!
Hi! My name is Karen Hixon, and I will be your teacher this year! This is my second year teaching, and I am so excited to be at Spring Creek this year! I graduated from Dalton State College with my bachleors degree in Early Childhood Education for grades PK-5 and an ESOL endorsement for grades PK-12. I always knew that I wanted to become a teacher. In fact, I knew in Kindergarten that this was the job for me!
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a daughter, a sister, and an aunt. I have two loving parents, two brothers, and one sister and many nieces and nephews. Being an aunt is one of the greatest joys in my life, and I love spending time with my wonderful family. I also have many hobbies such as photography, collecting children's books, and traveling. Someday I want to travel to all the states in the United States!
